Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs for all building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Oversee and perform reactive maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential maintenance needs before they escalate.
- Manage and coordinate external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or projects, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare maintenance budgets and track expenditures, providing regular reports to management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations outside of regular working hours when required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a maintenance leadership or supervisory role, preferably within commercial or multi-unit residential properties.
- Strong technical knowledge across various trades including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
- Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Valid driver's license.
- Fluent in English and German (B2 level or higher).

- Certified tradesperson (e.g., electrician, plumber, HVAC technician).
