Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive training needs analyses to identify skill gaps and development opportunities across the organization.
  • Design, develop, and implement engaging and effective learning programs, including workshops, e-learning modules, and blended learning solutions.
  • Manage the end-to-end learning cycle, from content creation and delivery to evaluation and continuous improvement.
  • Select and manage relationships with external training vendors and consultants when necessary.
  • Develop and manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective and impactful investments.
  • Implement and maintain learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies to enhance accessibility and engagement.
  • Measure the effectiveness of training programs through appropriate metrics and reporting, demonstrating ROI.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on development plans and career progression.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies in learning and development.
  • Ensure all training initiatives comply with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a strong learning culture within the organization, promoting self-directed learning and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, with at least 2 years in a management or lead role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and e-learning authoring tools.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and report on training effectiveness.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CTDP, CPTD, CPHR).
  • Experience with performance management systems and succession planning.
  • Knowledge of current trends in AI for learning and personalized learning paths.
  • Experience in a similar industry or with a diverse workforce.
