We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join a vibrant hospitality team in Old Aberdeen. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and register guests upon arrival, assigning rooms and issuing keys.
- Efficiently handle check-in and check-out procedures, processing payments accurately.
- Manage incoming calls, answer guest inquiries, and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Maintain an organised and presentable front desk area.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
- Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the hotel's property management system (PMS).
- Monitor and respond to guest feedback, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared and issues are addressed swiftly.
- Perform general administrative duties such as sorting mail, preparing reports, and managing office supplies.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality or front desk operations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in using Property Management Systems (PMS) or similar reservation software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a strong guest-focused approach.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent or Receptionist in a hotel setting.
