Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Health & Safety policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with local and international standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections across the industrial estate to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
- Ensure strict adherence to Jamaican occupational health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, Factories Act) and relevant environmental protection laws.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions to mitigate future risks.
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs and awareness campaigns for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Maintain meticulous records of all safety-related activities, including incidents, training, inspections, and compliance documentation.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to management and staff on all health, safety, and environmental matters.
- Champion and promote a proactive safety culture across the entire industrial estate.
- Manage emergency preparedness and response plans, including fire safety, first aid, and evacuation procedures.

Required Skills
- Proven expertise in occupational health and safety management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
