Job Description

Medine Ltd. is seeking a meticulous and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Bambous, Black River District. This crucial role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods, materials, and information across our diverse operations. As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our logistics and procurement processes, playing a key role in optimizing inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers and internal departments, and managing the entire lifecycle of our supply chain. You will be responsible for processing orders, tracking shipments, resolving supply chain issues, and maintaining accurate records to support our operational needs. Key Responsibilities

  • Process purchase orders and manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and reconcile discrepancies to optimize stock holdings and minimize waste.
  • Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, both locally and internationally.
  • Track and trace shipments, providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders on order status and potential delays.
  • Identify and resolve supply chain issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies, in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all supply chain activities, including purchases, shipments, and inventory.
  • Prepare and analyze supply chain reports, identifying trends and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate closely with procurement, sales, production, and finance departments to ensure seamless operational flow.
  • Assist in supplier evaluation and performance monitoring, contributing to a robust supplier network.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, company policies, and quality standards throughout the supply chain.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement coordination.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is highly desirable.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
