Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking an accomplished and visionary Director of Learning & Development to lead our talent enhancement initiatives. This pivotal role is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive learning strategies and programs that align with our strategic objectives and foster a culture of continuous growth and high performance across the organization. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in developing innovative and impactful L&D solutions that drive employee engagement, skill development, and organizational effectiveness.

You will be instrumental in identifying critical skill gaps, formulating targeted training interventions, and leveraging cutting-edge methodologies to ensure our workforce is equipped for current and future challenges. This position requires a leader who can inspire, mentor, and manage a team of L&D professionals, while also collaborating closely with senior leadership and department heads to integrate learning strategies into business operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with Career.zycto's overall business goals and talent management objectives.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities across all levels of the organization.
  • Design, develop, and deliver innovative and engaging learning programs, workshops, and e-learning modules covering leadership development, technical skills, soft skills, and compliance training.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of L&D specialists, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality program delivery.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of all learning programs using metrics and analytics to demonstrate ROI and make data-driven improvements.
  • Manage the L&D budget, vendor relationships, and negotiate contracts for external training providers and resources.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and knowledge sharing throughout the company.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in learning and development to ensure our programs remain cutting-edge.
  • Collaborate with HR, department heads, and senior leadership to ensure L&D initiatives are integrated into broader talent management and organizational development efforts.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing large-scale L&D strategies and programs.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and various training methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
  • Strategic thinking with a results-oriented approach.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPTD, ATD credentials).
  • Experience with talent management systems and performance management processes.
  • Familiarity with blended learning approaches and digital learning innovation.
  • Experience working in a multinational or diverse organizational environment.
