As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be the linchpin in coordinating all aspects of our supply chain, from receiving and storage to dispatch and delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including incoming and outgoing shipments, storage, and delivery schedules.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation, ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Process orders and oversee dispatch operations, including packing, loading, and routing vehicles for optimal efficiency.
- Maintain accurate logistics documentation, including shipping records, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Identify and resolve logistics issues, such as delivery delays, damages, and discrepancies, promptly and effectively.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and warehouse operations to identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize logistics software and systems for tracking, reporting, and managing inventory and shipments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics and warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role in a warehouse and delivery focused environment.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
