Job Description
Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and creating a stimulating, safe, and joyful environment where children can thrive? Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Childcare Assistant to join our vibrant community nursery team in Westhill, Aberdeen. This is an incredible opportunity to play a pivotal role in the early development journey of children aged 0-5, contributing to their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth every single day.
Our nursery isn’t just a place for care; it’s a hub of discovery, creativity, and learning. As a Childcare Assistant, you will be instrumental in bringing our child-centred ethos to life. You’ll work closely with qualified educators to plan and implement engaging activities, observe children’s progress, and foster a warm, inclusive atmosphere that encourages curiosity and independence. We believe in learning through play, fostering a sense of wonder, and providing tailored support to meet each child’s unique needs.
This role extends beyond direct interaction with children; it’s about becoming an integral part of our close-knit nursery family. You’ll communicate regularly with parents and guardians, sharing insights into their child’s day and development, and building strong, trusting relationships within our community. Career.zycto values teamwork, professional development, and a supportive culture where every team member feels empowered to contribute their best. We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence in early years education, someone who is proactive, kind, and genuinely excited about making a positive impact on the lives of young children and their families in Westhill.
