Key Responsibilities
- Execute detailed test cases and test plans across various platforms and devices to identify software defects.
- Document and report bugs clearly and concisely, including steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results.
- Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand new features and ensure test coverage.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings, providing updates on testing progress and identified issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified defects have been resolved and no new issues have been introduced.
- Provide constructive feedback and insights to improve product quality and user experience.
- Stay current with industry best practices in software testing and remote collaboration tools.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with various operating systems and web browsers.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and testing methodologies.
- A strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with basic software development concepts or programming languages.
- Prior experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Asana) or test management tools.
- Understanding of different software testing types (e.g., functional, UI, performance).
- Experience with Lucid products (Lucidchart, Lucidspark) or other visual collaboration tools.
