Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic.
- Conduct thorough keyword research, competitive analysis, and content gap analysis to identify opportunities.
- Perform technical SEO audits, including site structure, crawlability, indexing, and mobile-friendliness, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Optimize website content, metadata, internal linking, and user experience for search engines and user engagement.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
- Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all digital initiatives.
- Manage and optimize local SEO listings and strategies for clients.
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to enhance domain authority and organic rankings.
- Provide SEO training and guidance to internal teams as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
- Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz)
- Experience with technical SEO audits and on-page optimization
- Excellent keyword research and content optimization skills
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field
- Certifications in Google Analytics or Google Ads
- Experience with e-commerce SEO strategies
- Understanding of user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles
- Proficiency in French is a plus
