We are seeking a diligent and motivated Construction Labourer to join a dynamic team working on various site projects within the Footdee, Aberdeen area. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites. Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., bricklayers, carpenters, electricians) with their tasks.
- Perform general site duties including clearing debris, maintaining a clean and organised work area, and ensuring material availability.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision, adhering to safety protocols.
- Dig trenches, compact earth, and prepare surfaces for construction, as directed.
- Erect and dismantle temporary structures, scaffolding, and barricades as required (with appropriate training and supervision).
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and site-specific procedures.
- Carry out instructions from site managers and supervisors effectively and promptly.
- Assist with the setup and take down of temporary traffic management measures when necessary.
