Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drainage, and water heaters.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of plumbing infrastructure and prevent breakdowns.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, identifying root causes of problems.
- Execute repairs on leaks, clogs, pipe bursts, and malfunctioning plumbing fixtures.
- Install and replace plumbing components such as faucets, toilets, sinks, water heaters, and pipe sections.
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls and resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during plumbing operations.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and environmental standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a plumber or plumbing maintenance staff.
- Solid understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Proficiency in various plumbing techniques including soldering, pipe fitting, and drain cleaning.
