Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, setting a positive tone for their dining experience.
  • Efficiently manage reservations and walk-ins using a digital reservation system.
  • Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and inform them of daily specials or promotions.
  • Accurately manage the waiting list and communicate estimated wait times to guests.
  • Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize dining room flow and ensure balanced server sections.
  • Answer phone calls professionally, provide information, and assist with booking inquiries.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance area, and waiting lounge.
  • Assist in setting up and clearing tables, as well as light cleaning duties during slow periods.
  • Communicate effectively and proactively with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Handle guest complaints or special requests with diplomacy, escalating issues to management when necessary.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within hospitality or retail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
