Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, setting a positive tone for their dining experience.
- Efficiently manage reservations and walk-ins using a digital reservation system.
- Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and inform them of daily specials or promotions.
- Accurately manage the waiting list and communicate estimated wait times to guests.
- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize dining room flow and ensure balanced server sections.
- Answer phone calls professionally, provide information, and assist with booking inquiries.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance area, and waiting lounge.
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables, as well as light cleaning duties during slow periods.
- Communicate effectively and proactively with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with diplomacy, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Required Skills
