Key Responsibilities
- Draft and edit compelling press releases, media alerts, internal communications, and other corporate messaging.
- Assist with media outreach, including building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, and industry influencers.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare comprehensive reports on PR effectiveness, sentiment analysis, and competitor activities.
- Develop engaging content for Suzuki's various digital channels, including social media platforms, the corporate website, and customer newsletters.
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic PR campaigns, product launches, and corporate events.
- Coordinate closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all communications.
- Conduct research on industry trends, emerging media landscapes, and potential communication opportunities to inform strategy.
- Organise and maintain communication assets, including image banks, video libraries, media contact lists, and brand guidelines.
- Respond promptly and professionally to media inquiries and facilitate interview requests with key spokespeople.
- Contribute to crisis communication efforts, assisting in the preparation of statements and managing public responses as needed.
Required Skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in drafting press releases, articles, web content, and social media posts.
- Strong understanding of media relations, public relations principles, and communication best practices.
- Proficiency in social media management for corporate brands across various platforms.
