As a Fashion Sales Representative, you will be the face of our client’s brand, interacting directly with customers, understanding their unique style preferences, and guiding them through a curated collection of apparel and accessories. Your primary goal will be to drive sales while creating memorable and personalized shopping experiences.
You will be responsible for maintaining an immaculate and inviting store atmosphere, which includes assisting with visual merchandising, ensuring displays are appealing and current with the latest trends. Product knowledge will be key; you’ll be expected to stay informed about new arrivals, designers, fabrics, and styling tips to effectively advise customers. Beyond sales, this role involves various operational tasks such as managing inventory, processing transactions accurately, handling returns and exchanges with professionalism, and assisting with opening and closing procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm, providing personalized styling advice and product recommendations.
- Achieve and consistently exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all product lines, including new arrivals, features, and benefits.
- Contribute to visual merchandising efforts, ensuring the store is aesthetically pleasing and organized.
- Process sales transactions accurately, handle cash, and manage point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving new stock, tagging, and stock replenishment.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, encouraging repeat business through exceptional service.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns/exchanges professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure store cleanliness and organization, adhering to all operational standards.
- Collaborate with team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in fashion or a boutique setting (1 year minimum).
- Strong passion for fashion and a keen eye for current trends and styling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
