Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits, adhering to recipe standards.
- Interact engagingly with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, ensuring all equipment is in excellent working condition.
- Manage bar inventory, including tracking stock levels, placing orders, and receiving deliveries.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, processing payments and managing tips.
- Adhere strictly to all relevant hygiene, health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Assist in the development of new cocktail recipes and drink menus.
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year (12 months) proven experience as a Barman or Bartender.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and classic cocktail recipes.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating change.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from a reputable bartending school.
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
