Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security systems and protocols across cloud, network, and application layers.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify and remediate weaknesses.
- Develop, update, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor security event logs, analyze threats, and lead incident response activities from detection to resolution and post-incident analysis.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security by design into the SDLC and DevOps pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions to enhance our overall security posture.
- Provide expert guidance and security awareness training to employees on best practices and emerging threats.
- Perform risk assessments and provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threat intelligence, and attack vectors.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in a Cybersecurity Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, EDR, and IDS/IPS technologies.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Expertise in network security, including firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and secure network architecture.
- Solid experience with vulnerability management tools and processes.
- Demonstrable experience in incident response, forensics, and threat analysis.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and tool development.
- In-depth knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows) and their security configurations.
