Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises, both on foot and via designated transport, to deter and detect unauthorized activities.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV, and promptly report any suspicious findings or security breaches.
- Respond effectively to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, following established protocols and procedures.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, incident reports, and other necessary documentation.
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to security and safety.
- Control access points, verifying credentials of visitors and employees.
- Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services as required during incidents.
- Provide excellent customer service to staff, visitors, and residents while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance security skills and knowledge.
- Ensure all safety regulations are adhered to and report any potential hazards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a security role (e.g., security guard, patrol officer, bouncer).
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong understanding of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities under pressure.
- Basic first aid knowledge (certification is a plus).
