Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily financial transactions for the remote department, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payroll data in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct regular bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Monitor budget adherence, identify variances, and provide insights to department leads.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant local regulations.
- Support year-end audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies and improve processes.
- Utilize accounting software and remote collaboration tools effectively.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of financial principles, general ledger, and reconciliation processes.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
