Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests, assisting them with seating and menu presentation.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, offering recommendations and answering questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively to requests, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
- Process payments accurately using our POS system and handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including table setup, breakdown, and general restaurant cleanliness.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service operations.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines and company policies.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required, including restocking and cleaning.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Server in a full-service restaurant setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately take orders and handle payments.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
- Availability to work full-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with POS systems (e.g., Toast, Aloha, Square).
- Knowledge of wine pairings and craft cocktails.
- Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain one upon hire.
- Prior experience in a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant.
