Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Transcriptionist to join our team on a flexible, part-time basis. As a Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for converting audio and video recordings into written text, ensuring high levels of precision, proper grammar, punctuation, and formatting. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately transcribe audio and video files into written text.
  • Ensure grammar, punctuation, and spelling are correct in all transcripts.
  • Identify and correct errors in audio where possible and flag unclear passages.
  • Manage multiple transcription projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Conduct research for proper spelling of names, places, and industry-specific terminology.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and security of all client information.
  • Utilize transcription software and tools efficiently.
  • Review and edit own work for quality assurance before submission.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers regarding project status or challenges.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional listening skills and a keen ear for detail.
  • Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Proficiency in using transcription software and word processing applications.
  • Ability to type accurately and efficiently (minimum 60 WPM).
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
