Job Description
This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within Zimbabwe, reporting to our Hwange-based management team. Hwange Colliery Company Limited is seeking a meticulous and proactive Remote Website Feedback Collection Coordinator to join our growing digital engagement team. As the Remote Website Feedback Collection Coordinator, you will be a pivotal force in ensuring our digital platforms consistently meet and exceed the evolving needs and expectations of our users. Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously design, implement, and manage a robust, scalable system for systematically collecting, comprehensively analyzing, and effectively reporting on user feedback originating from our corporate website and other pertinent digital properties. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage systematic methods for collecting user feedback on the company's corporate website and other digital properties (e.g., surveys, polls, feedback widgets, user interviews, usability testing).
- Monitor and manage various feedback channels, ensuring timely collection, categorization, and organization of qualitative and quantitative data.
- Conduct thorough analysis of collected feedback to identify recurring themes, user pain points, common usability issues, and areas for improvement in user experience, content, and website functionality.
- Generate comprehensive regular reports and insightful presentations summarizing key findings, actionable insights, and prioritized recommendations for internal stakeholders, including IT, marketing, and senior management.
- Collaborate actively with the IT, marketing, and communications teams to prioritize feedback-driven initiatives and seamlessly integrate user-centric improvements into website development and content update cycles.
- Track the successful implementation of feedback-driven changes and rigorously evaluate their impact on key performance indicators (KPIs) such such as user satisfaction, engagement metrics, and overall website performance.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and new tools in website user experience (UX), feedback collection methodologies, and digital analytics to continually enhance our processes.
- Assist in the creation and refinement of user personas and user journey maps based on empirical evidence gathered from collected feedback.
- Act as a staunch advocate for the user throughout the entire website development, maintenance, and enhancement processes, ensuring a user-first approach.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on effective feedback collection techniques and the importance of user insights.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (2+ years) in website user feedback collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency with various feedback collection tools (e.g., Google Forms, SurveyMonkey, Hotjar, UserTesting, Qualaroo).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into clear, actionable insights.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write concise reports and deliver engaging presentations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel for data analysis, PowerPoint for presentations, Word for documentation).
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of working independently and effectively in a remote work environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
- Familiarity with A/B testing principles and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies.
- Working knowledge of content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or similar.
- Project management experience, particularly in agile development environments.
- Understanding of digital accessibility standards (WCAG) and their application.
- Previous experience working for a large corporate entity or in the mining/heavy industry sector.
