You will work closely with experienced audio engineers, learning the ropes of sound system setup, operation, and maintenance for various events and productions. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior audio engineers with the setup, calibration, and breakdown of sound equipment, including microphones, speakers, mixing consoles, and cabling.
- Learn to operate various audio mixing consoles and digital audio workstations (DAWs) under direct supervision.
- Support sound checks and rehearsals to ensure optimal audio quality for performers and presenters.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of audio equipment and signal flow issues during events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sound booth area and all audio equipment.
- Follow technical instructions and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Actively participate in training sessions and seek opportunities to expand knowledge of audio technology and best practices.
- Provide general technical support to the production team as needed.
Required Skills
