Key Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashers and hand wash all kitchenware, including pots, pans, plates, and utensils, ensuring they are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including work surfaces, floors, walls, and storage areas, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, under the guidance of kitchen staff.
- Manage waste disposal, ensuring bins are emptied regularly and recycling protocols are followed.
- Receive and store deliveries, verifying items against invoices and organizing stock appropriately.
- Support chefs and cooks by fetching ingredients, cleaning equipment, and performing ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Report any maintenance issues or broken equipment to management promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.
