Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools, working closely with developers for resolution.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to understand project requirements and ensure testability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Provide clear and concise progress reports on testing activities and defect status.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and other Agile ceremonies as part of a remote team.
- Set up and maintain test environments as needed for specific testing activities.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Software Tester or Quality Assurance Engineer (minimum 2 years).
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a thorough approach to testing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
