Career.zycto is seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Learning & Development to lead our talent growth initiatives. This pivotal role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive learning strategies that align with our organizational goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. As the Director of Learning & Development, you will be instrumental in identifying skill gaps, developing engaging training programs, and evaluating their effectiveness to ensure our workforce is equipped with the competencies needed for future success. You will manage a team of L&D professionals, mentor them, and drive best practices in instructional design, content creation, and delivery methods. Your strategic insight will shape our approach to employee onboarding, leadership development, performance enhancement, and career progression frameworks. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with Career.zycto’s business objectives and growth plans.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative and effective training programs, including onboarding, technical skills, soft skills, and leadership development.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement across various departments and levels of the organization.
- Manage and mentor a team of L&D specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of all learning programs using relevant metrics and feedback mechanisms, making data-driven improvements.
- Champion the adoption of blended learning approaches, including e-learning, workshops, coaching, and experiential learning.
- Oversee the selection and management of external training vendors and resources when necessary.
- Stay current with L&D best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends to ensure Career.zycto remains at the forefront of talent development.
- Collaborate with HR and senior leadership to integrate L&D initiatives into overall talent management and succession planning efforts.
- Manage the L&D budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a senior Learning & Development leadership role, preferably as a Director or Head of L&D.
- Demonstrable expertise in instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and training methodologies.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently from conception to completion.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of developing and motivating L&D professionals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
- Strategic thinking with an ability to connect L&D initiatives to business outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating program effectiveness and making data-driven decisions.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
