Career.zycto is actively seeking a diligent and motivated Entry Level Warehouse Pallet Stacker to join our growing team in the bustling Yonge–Finch area of Toronto. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in logistics and supply chain management, even without prior experience. As a Pallet Stacker, you will be an integral part of our warehouse operations, responsible for the efficient and safe handling, stacking, and organization of goods. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth flow of products throughout our facility, ensuring they are ready for shipment or storage, and contributing directly to our overall operational success.
In this fast-paced and collaborative environment, precision and attention to detail are paramount. You will work within a supportive team, where we prioritize hands-on training and mentorship to help you quickly learn best practices for warehouse safety, basic inventory management, and material handling techniques. Your day-to-day tasks will involve using manual and potentially powered pallet jacks (with comprehensive training provided if necessary) to meticulously move, stack, and retrieve pallets, always ensuring proper weight distribution, stability, and adherence to safety guidelines. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently stack and unstack pallets by hand or using manual/powered equipment.
- Ensure accurate placement and organization of goods within designated warehouse areas, optimizing space.
- Inspect pallets and products for damage or discrepancies, reporting any issues promptly to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment, strictly adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers as needed, following proper procedures.
- Operate manual pallet jacks, and potentially learn to operate other material handling equipment under direct supervision and after receiving appropriate certification/training.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals and ensure seamless workflow.
- Perform basic inventory checks and counts as instructed, contributing to accurate stock management.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong physical stamina and endurance for standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shifts.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety principles.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
