Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers warmly, addressing inquiries and guiding them to appropriate products.
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems, handling cash and electronic payments.
- Maintain organized and well-stocked shelves, ensuring proper product placement and expiry date management.
- Assist pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions by retrieving correct items (under supervision, if applicable by law).
- Monitor inventory levels, report stock shortages, and assist with receiving and unpacking new deliveries.
- Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Provide information on over-the-counter medications, health products, and pharmacy services.
- Resolve customer complaints or refer complex issues to the pharmacist promptly and professionally.
Required Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and empathetic approach.
- Basic mathematical proficiency for handling transactions and calculating change.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
