Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive L&D strategy aligned with business objectives and organisational needs.
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging learning programs, workshops, and e-learning modules across various formats.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities across all departments.
- Manage the full L&D cycle, from content creation and instructional design to program delivery and evaluation.
- Source, evaluate, and manage external training providers and resources to supplement internal capabilities.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and knowledge sharing within the organisation.
- Utilise learning technologies and platforms (LMS, authoring tools) to enhance program accessibility and effectiveness.
- Track and report on the effectiveness and ROI of L&D initiatives using key performance indicators and metrics.
- Mentor and coach managers on best practices for employee development, performance management, and career progression.
- Manage the L&D budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and maximum return on investment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 6 years) in designing and implementing successful L&D programs in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning theories.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across all levels of an organisation, influencing stakeholders effectively.
- Exceptional project management, organisational, and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to measure, evaluate, and report on program effectiveness and impact.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple projects concurrently, and work autonomously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Education, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPD, ATD, Coaching qualifications, PMP).
- Experience with blended learning approaches, virtual classroom delivery, and gamification in learning.
- Knowledge of current L&D trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in talent development.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth HR, professional services, or technology environment.
