Key Responsibilities
- Execute visual merchandising directives and planograms to maintain consistent brand standards across the store.
- Assist in the creative planning and installation of seasonal and promotional displays, ensuring timely completion.
- Arrange products, signage, and decorative elements to enhance visual appeal and customer engagement.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, tidiness, and visual appeal of all retail displays and general store areas.
- Provide feedback on display effectiveness and customer interactions to the management team.
- Ensure all health and safety guidelines are adhered to during display setup and maintenance.
- Assist with stock rotation, inventory management pertinent to displays, and general store operations as needed.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure displays support sales goals and highlight key products.
- Stay informed on current retail display trends and competitor activities to suggest innovative ideas.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 1 year) in retail merchandising, visual display, or a similar role.
- Strong aesthetic sense and creative flair with an eye for detail and visual composition.
- Ability to interpret and execute visual merchandising guidelines and planograms.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to lift, move, and arrange merchandise and display fixtures.
- Proficiency in basic hand tools for display assembly and installation.
- A passion for retail and customer experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Retail, Visual Merchandising, or a related field.
- Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express) for creating basic signage.
- Demonstrable portfolio or examples of previous display work.
- Knowledge of space planning and customer flow principles within a retail setting.
