Job Description

Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeepers to join our vibrant team in Runaway Bay. As a Housekeeper, you are the backbone of our guest experience, directly contributing to the comfort and satisfaction of every visitor. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and orderliness across guest rooms, suites, and designated common areas. Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms, suites, and common areas according to the hotel's established standards and procedures.
  • Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish towels and amenities daily.
  • Dust, polish furniture, vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and clean bathrooms thoroughly.
  • Ensure all fixtures, fittings, and room furnishings are in good condition and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Stock and maintain the cleanliness of housekeeping carts and storage areas.
  • Handle guest requests and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and guidelines.
  • Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Keep track of lost and found items and follow established procedures for their handling.
  • Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold company values.

Required Skills

  • Proven attention to detail and a meticulous approach to cleanliness.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
