Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and verify financial data against ledgers.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports as required.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records and filing systems digitally.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding financial queries.
- Utilize accounting software to input data and generate reports efficiently.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB).
- Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
