Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Manage warehouse inventory, conducting regular stock checks and reconciling discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
- Schedule and dispatch delivery vehicles, optimizing routes and loads for maximum efficiency.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve any logistical issues or delays.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs forms.
- Track and report on key logistics metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Utilize logistics software and systems to enhance operational visibility and efficiency.
- Assist in the negotiation of freight rates and service agreements with carriers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing delivery inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in a logistics, warehouse, or supply chain coordination role.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
