Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our dedicated team in Harbour View, Kingston. In this pivotal role, you will be the central point of contact for all inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring the seamless flow of goods from our warehouse to our valued customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Manage warehouse inventory, conducting regular stock checks and reconciling discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
  • Schedule and dispatch delivery vehicles, optimizing routes and loads for maximum efficiency.
  • Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve any logistical issues or delays.
  • Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs forms.
  • Track and report on key logistics metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all local and international shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Utilize logistics software and systems to enhance operational visibility and efficiency.
  • Assist in the negotiation of freight rates and service agreements with carriers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing delivery inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in a logistics, warehouse, or supply chain coordination role.
  • Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
  • Knowledge of local transportation networks and infrastructure in Jamaica.
  • Certification in supply chain or logistics (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
