Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting to support strategic planning and informed decision-making.
- Prepare detailed budgets, financial reports, and insightful variance analysis, providing clear explanations for deviations from forecasts and prior periods.
- Monitor financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with various departments to gather relevant financial data, synthesize information, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of robust financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, control, and reporting quality.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis, special projects, and participate in cross-functional initiatives as required by management.
- Present financial findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear, concise, and impactful manner.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, planning, or accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis using Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial functions).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and experience with financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics 365).
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fully remote work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
