Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance Officer to join our team in Katong, Singapore. This pivotal role involves ensuring strict adherence to all relevant local and international regulatory requirements, internal policies, and best practices. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular compliance reviews, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and advise management on their impact on business operations.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance matters, fostering a strong culture of ethical conduct.
- Investigate and report on compliance breaches, ensuring timely and appropriate remediation.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, internal auditors, and external consultants as required.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports accurately and within prescribed deadlines.
- Assist in the development and implementation of a robust Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Financing of Terrorism (CFT) framework.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all compliance activities, decisions, and communications.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within the financial services or consulting sector in Singapore.
- In-depth knowledge of Singaporean regulatory landscape (e.g., MAS regulations, PDPA).
- Strong understanding of AML/CFT principles and requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and ethical conduct.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA Diploma in Compliance).
- Master's degree or Juris Doctor (JD).
- Experience with compliance management software and tools.
- Ability to speak Mandarin or Malay to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
