Job Description
Patterson’s Guest House is seeking a diligent and reliable Part-Time Laundry Attendant to join our dedicated team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all linens, towels, and other fabric items are immaculately cleaned, folded, and stored, ready for our guests’ comfort. Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold all guest linens, towels, uniforms, and other fabric items according to established procedures and schedules.
- Operate and maintain commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and irons, ensuring they are used safely and efficiently.
- Inspect items for stains, damage, or wear and tear, treating stains appropriately and reporting damaged items to management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies, reporting needs to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Ensure timely delivery of clean linens to relevant departments or storage areas.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to guest privacy and security.
Required Skills

- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift, bend, and push/pull laundry carts.
