Key Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled metal fabricators with various tasks, including measuring, cutting, grinding, and welding preparation.
  • Prepare raw materials by moving, lifting, and securing items, ensuring they are ready for processing.
  • Operate basic fabrication equipment and tools such as grinders, drills, saws, and measuring instruments under direct supervision.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment, including sweeping, tidying work areas, and proper tool storage.
  • Assist in the assembly and finishing of metal products, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Perform routine checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Support inventory management by assisting with material receiving, stocking, and organizing.
  • Learn and apply new fabrication techniques and processes as guided by senior staff.

Required Skills

  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools common in a workshop setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic measurements and blueprints.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 25 kg) safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications
