Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable efficiently, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements accurately and promptly.
- Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members across departments using digital communication and project management tools.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and internal controls.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS principles
- Excellent data entry and reconciliation skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
