Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) and Power Automate flows to automate business processes and enhance user experience.
- Build interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators and support data-driven decision-making.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics 365) and external systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, best practices, and governance for Power Platform development within the organization.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all developed solutions, including technical specifications, user guides, and training materials.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Power Platform applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Stay abreast of the latest Power Platform features, updates, and best practices, proactively recommending improvements and innovations.
- Mentor junior developers and provide support to end-users on Power Platform related queries and issues.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Apps (canvas and model-driven)
- Strong proficiency in Power Automate (flows, custom connectors)
- Demonstrable experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting
- Solid understanding of Dataverse (formerly Common Data Service) and its application in Power Platform solutions
- Experience with SharePoint Online integration and data sources
- Familiarity with Azure services relevant to Power Platform (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote, distributed team
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or other relevant certifications
- Experience with Power Virtual Agents and AI Builder
- Knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, HTML, CSS for advanced customizations
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
- Background in financial services or a heavily regulated industry
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices in a cloud environment
