Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs and defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure testability.
- Participate in review meetings, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, tools, and automation strategies.
- Provide timely and clear communication on testing progress, issues, and risks.
- Validate resolved issues and perform regression testing to ensure no new defects are introduced.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement quality metrics.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Software QA Tester or similar role.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with manual testing techniques and test case design.
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
- ISTQB certification.
- Experience in a regulated industry or aerospace sector.
