Career.zycto is seeking a highly organized and passionate A&R Administrator to join our vibrant team in West Bridgford, Nottingham. This crucial full-time role serves as the operational lynchpin for our Artist & Repertoire department, ensuring seamless workflow and robust support for our A&R managers and their roster of emerging talent. You will be instrumental in managing the administrative elements of artist discovery, development, and project management, playing a direct role in shaping the future of music.
In this position, you will be deeply immersed in the administrative lifecycle of artist projects, from initial demo submissions and database management to coordinating recording sessions, liaising with legal teams for contract execution, and tracking budgets. Your ability to maintain impeccable records, juggle multiple priorities, and communicate effectively will be paramount. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organize demo submissions, maintaining an up-to-date artist database.
- Coordinate recording sessions, studio bookings, and travel arrangements for artists and A&R teams.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and track project budgets meticulously.
- Assist A&R managers with scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and compiling reports.
- Liaise with legal, business affairs, and finance departments regarding artist contracts and payments.
- Oversee the collection and distribution of necessary artist materials (photos, bios, masters).
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and intellectual property.
- Support the onboarding of new artists, ensuring all administrative aspects are handled efficiently.
- Act as a central point of contact for internal teams and external partners related to A&R projects.
- Assist with event planning and logistical support for showcases and industry events.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an administrator, ideally within the music, entertainment, or creative industries.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure.
