Key Responsibilities
- Host engaging and dynamic radio programs according to station format and content guidelines.
- Research, develop, and write compelling show content, including scripts, talking points, and interview questions.
- Curate music selections that align with the show's theme and target audience.
- Conduct live interviews with guests, experts, and community members.
- Manage listener interactions, including call-ins, social media comments, and dedications.
- Operate broadcast equipment, ensuring high-quality audio output and adherence to broadcast standards.
- Contribute to the station's online presence through social media updates, blog posts, and digital content creation.
- Participate in station promotions, public appearances, and community events.
- Monitor news, current events, and cultural trends relevant to the show's audience.
- Collaborate with producers, sound engineers, and other team members to enhance show quality.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a radio host or on-air personality.
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills in English and French (Creole proficiency is a strong advantage).
