Key Responsibilities
- Provide initial technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person for network-related issues, escalating complex problems to senior technicians.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting to identify and resolve connectivity issues, IP addressing conflicts, and service interruptions.
- Monitor network performance and availability, reporting any anomalies or potential issues promptly.
- Document support tickets, solutions, and network configurations accurately in our knowledge base and ticketing system.
- Assist with user account management, including creation, modification, and deletion of network access permissions.
- Support data backup and recovery operations as directed, ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Maintain an organized inventory of network equipment and software licenses.
- Participate in training sessions and self-study to continuously enhance technical skills and stay updated with industry best practices.
- Adhere to IT security policies and procedures, ensuring the protection of company and client data.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental goals and provide comprehensive support.
- Perform routine system checks and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal network performance.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software
