Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome customers warmly, providing an exceptional and personalized shopping experience.
  • Actively engage with clients to understand their style preferences, needs, and budget, offering tailored fashion advice and product recommendations.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of current fashion trends, store merchandise, inventory, and promotions.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, ensuring the store is aesthetically pleasing, organized, and reflects brand standards.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems, including handling cash, credit cards, and returns/exchanges.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, fostering loyalty through follow-ups and personalized service.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving new shipments, ticketing, and stock replenishment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive and positive work environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards of the sales floor and fitting rooms.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in a fashion or luxury goods environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and engaging demeanor.
  • Strong understanding of fashion trends, styling, and garment knowledge.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment, including weekends and holidays.
  • Customer-centric approach with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A degree or diploma in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with luxury fashion brands or high-end boutiques.
  • Multilingual abilities (e.g., ability to speak Yoruba or Igbo in addition to English).
