Career.zycto is actively seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Remote Travel Consultant to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to shape incredible travel experiences for a diverse clientele, all from the comfort and convenience of your home office. As a key member of our remote workforce, you will be responsible for understanding client needs, crafting personalized itineraries, and providing exceptional customer service from the initial inquiry through to their safe return. We are looking for individuals who possess a true passion for travel, an encyclopedic knowledge of global destinations, and a keen eye for detail. You’ll be leveraging your sales prowess to convert inquiries into bookings, while also building lasting relationships with clients who will rely on your expertise for their future adventures.

Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients remotely to understand their travel preferences, budgets, and specific requirements.
- Research, recommend, and book travel arrangements including flights, hotels, cruises, car rentals, tours, and excursions.
- Develop customized travel itineraries that meet individual client needs and preferences.
- Provide expert advice on destinations, travel restrictions, visa requirements, and health precautions.
- Process bookings, secure payments, and issue tickets, confirmations, and other travel documents accurately.
- Maintain strong relationships with travel suppliers and negotiate competitive rates and packages.
- Handle customer inquiries, changes, and cancellations with professionalism and efficiency.
- Stay informed about current travel trends, industry news, and new destination offerings.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Resolve any travel-related issues or emergencies that may arise during a client's trip.
- Utilize CRM software and booking systems to manage client profiles and track sales activities.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar sales-focused travel role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a remote or office-based environment.
- Extensive knowledge of international travel destinations, cultures, and popular tourist attractions.
- Proficiency in using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo, or similar online booking platforms.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple bookings and client requests simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- A relevant degree or certification in Tourism, Hospitality, or Travel Management.
- Experience with luxury travel planning or specialized niche markets (e.g., adventure travel, honeymoons).
- Fluency in additional languages beyond English.
- Familiarity with travel insurance products and sales.
- Previous experience working for an online travel agency (OTA).
