Job Description

Econet Telecom Lesotho is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and customer-focused Retail Sales Executive to join our dynamic team in Ha Tikoe, Maseru. Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with customers entering the retail store to identify and understand their telecommunication needs.
  • Present, promote, and sell Econet Telecom Lesotho's full range of products and services, including mobile devices, SIM cards, data bundles, and EcoCash services.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide expert product knowledge and conduct engaging demonstrations of features and benefits to customers.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve service issues, and provide exceptional after-sales support to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing store environment, ensuring products are properly displayed and stocked.
  • Actively participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on new products, services, and industry trends.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and foster loyalty.
  • Accurately record customer information and sales data as required by company procedures.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within the telecommunications or electronics sector.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse customer segments.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
