Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods to various locations within Ras Al Khaimah.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries, utilizing navigation tools as needed.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles daily.
- Verify contents of shipments against shipping documents upon loading and delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including recipients' signatures and collection of payments where applicable.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving delivery issues professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and report any issues promptly.
- Handle unexpected situations or delays with professionalism and clear communication.
- Collaborate with the dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and routes.
Required Skills
- Valid UAE Driving License (Manual/Automatic)
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of Ras Al Khaimah roads and geographical areas
- Ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely and responsibly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with modern navigation tools and delivery software
- Prior experience in logistics or parcel delivery services
