Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial client consultations to understand vision, objectives, and budget for each event.
- Develop detailed event proposals, timelines, and logistical plans for both wedding and corporate events.
- Manage event budgets meticulously, tracking expenses and negotiating favorable terms with vendors.
- Source, vet, and manage relationships with a diverse network of vendors, including venues, caterers, decorators, photographers, entertainers, and AV technicians.
- Coordinate all logistical elements, including setup, breakdown, scheduling, transportation, and on-site management.
- Oversee the creative direction, ensuring décor, themes, and overall ambiance align with client expectations.
- Provide exceptional on-site event management, ensuring smooth execution and prompt resolution of any issues.
- Ensure all events comply with relevant health, safety, and permit regulations.
- Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback and producing reports for clients and internal review.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) in professional event planning, specifically in both wedding and corporate sectors.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated financial acumen and budget management expertise.
