Key Responsibilities
- Develop engaging 2D and 3D animated content for various platforms, ensuring creative vision alignment.
- Collaborate effectively with creative directors, designers, and strategists to conceptualize and storyboard animation projects.
- Design and create original characters, environments, and other visual assets from scratch or based on existing concepts.
- Animate complex scenes and sequences, ensuring fluid motion, compelling storytelling, and high visual appeal.
- Utilize industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Blender for all stages of production.
- Implement feedback and revisions efficiently and effectively to meet project objectives and client expectations.
- Manage multiple animation projects simultaneously, adhering to schedules and delivering high-quality work under deadlines.
- Ensure all animated content adheres strictly to brand guidelines, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Stay updated with the latest animation techniques, software advancements, and evolving industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Illustrator.
- Strong understanding and application of core animation principles (e.g., timing, spacing, anticipation, squash and stretch).
- Demonstrable professional experience with 2D animation techniques and workflows.
- A strong online portfolio showcasing exceptional animation and motion graphics work.
- Excellent visual storytelling, conceptualization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate them into engaging animated visuals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or a closely related field.
- Experience with 3D animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, 3ds Max).
- Knowledge of video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Proven experience in character rigging and character animation.
- Understanding of visual effects (VFX) principles and their application in motion graphics.
- Ability to create detailed storyboards and animatics to visualize concepts prior to full animation.
