Job Description

Solution Sacco is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Business Analyst (Corporate) to join our dynamic team in Embu County. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough business process analysis, identifying inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement across various departments.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders, translating them into clear and concise functional specifications for system enhancements or new projects.
  • Develop and maintain detailed process maps, workflow diagrams, and data models to visualize current and future state processes.
  • Perform data analysis to support business decisions, identify trends, forecast outcomes, and measure the impact of implemented solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives and technical capabilities.
  • Prepare comprehensive business cases, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses to support proposed initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to elicit requirements, validate solutions, and gain consensus.
  • Support project management activities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and user guides for new systems or processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions, ensuring they meet business objectives and deliver expected benefits.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, regulatory changes, and technological advancements relevant to the Sacco sector.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the financial services or Sacco sector.
  • Proven experience in business process mapping, analysis, and re-engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL) and business intelligence platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Visrica).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Project Management (PMP).
  • Experience with Sacco management systems or core banking systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing financial institutions in Kenya.
